Sara Souza Santos

Sara's body was found alongside the BR-251 highway on the morning of 222 October. She had been shot three times.

This morning, on the BR-251, in Montes Claros, the body of a [trans woman] with three revolver marks was found. The Military Police believe that the [trans woman] was killed during the night. Identified as Sara, the [trans woman] was lying on the side of the highway.

Beside the body was a wig and a pipe. According to residents of Alto São João, Sara was a crack user and lived and slept on the streets of the neighborhood.
