The victim was found dead in a gully. Although they were described as "a man dressed in women's clothing" it is likely that the victim was a trans woman and describes them as such.

A man dressed in women's clothing was found dead Sunday morning in a gully in northwest Houston, police said.

Houston Police Department homicide detectives received a call about 8:45 a.m. reporting a dead body in Brickhouse Gully, near 4100 Antoine, east of the Northwest Freeway, underneath a bridge.

The man, wearing what appears to be a black dress and panty hose, was found in shallow water appearing to be about 3 inches deep.

Police said two juveniles told someone about the body. The juveniles left and the person called authorities. "At this point, it is not believed the two juveniles were involved in the victim's death, but our investigators do want to speak with them about what they saw," said Houston Police Department spokesman Victor Senties.

An autopsy is scheduled.
