Paola's body was found on the edges of a coffee plantation on the afternoon of Sunday 8th June. Her hands and feet were tied, her genitals exposed and she had multiple stab wounds.
The body of a 29-year-old [trans woman] was found this Sunday afternoon (08) in the Arandu region, 281 km from the greater São Paulo. According to information from the Military Police, a resident of the countryside was the one who found the body on the margins of a coffee plantation. The body was found with feet and hands tied. Forensics were on site and found several bruises on the victim's body and deep cuts, possibly caused by a knife. According to the police, the victim lived in Avaré (15 km from where the body was found) and made a stop on the Salim Curiati highway at the time of SP 245. The police suspect that a client of the victim may have been the perpetrator of the crime. So far, no one has been arrested.
