The victim's body was found on a football pitch. She had been beaten and had a small knife in her hand, which officials say may have been used to defend against her attackers.

A comment on a Facebook post [1] suggests that her name might have been Riva:

"Vai com Deus Riva que a justiça venho ser feita isso não pode ficar assim"
