W. was beaten to death inside a residence in the Pajuçara neighborhood. Two men were arrested.

Two men were arrested on the morning of Thursday (19), suspected of killing [trans woman] [deadname] de Oliveira, 29, with stones and beatings on Sunday (11) [August] in the Pajuçara neighborhood, Maracanaú, Greater Fortaleza. The crime was motivated by the theft of a mobile device in a place dominated by the criminal faction of which the suspects were involved. The men were arrested in the Pajuçara neighborhood.

According to police chief Daniel Coelho of the Maracanaú Metropolitan Police Department of Homicide, the suspects, identified as Antônio Joélio, 22, and Douglas Bento Azevedo, 21, were implicated for being part of a criminal organization and for qualified homicide.
