Coral's body was found dumped and wrapped in a blanket the morning after the International Trans Day of Remembrance. She had been tortured and shot twice in the head.
MEXICO CITY.- The lifeless body of a transsexual person was found wrapped in blankets, with signs of torture and two shots in the head next to the building of the Command Center of the Federal Police, in the mayor's office of Iztapalapa.
The finding occurred around 7:20 a.m. on Thursday on Telecommunications Avenue, El Graph reported.
According to the media, the body was found by an employee at the site who noticed that there was a purple lump with traces of blood on the sidewalk. The man immediately notified his co-workers who guarded the site.
The body, which wore women's clothing, was tied with ankles, hands and neck with ropes and transparent tape and had two bullet impacts on the head.
The victim was identified by the [social name] "Coral" and was a member of the LGBTTTI community.
