Monica was shot by a man in a vehicle who approached them in a vehicle while they were working. They ran screaming for help but collapsed nearby and died in hospital.
[Possible deadname] Coelho de Almeida, 44, died this morning on Tuesday, 26, after being shot at Avenida Antônio Quintino Gomes, near a tire store in the Bodan ese neighborhood, in Vilhena.
According to the police report, [possible deadname], who is a [trans person] known as Monica, was at her place of work on a street next to a tire store, when a man approached in a car appearing to be a white Fiat Fiorino. When she approached the car, the man fired, hitting her in the chest.
She ran screaming for help, and fell into the tire yard.
The Fire Department was called by witnesses and took the victim to the Regional Hospital. In the emergency room, she suffered cardiac arrest, but was resuscitated and taken to the operating room, where she succombed to her injuries and died. The Civil Police are investigating the case.
