Kendall was stabbed during an argument with another sex worker which was reportedly motivated by jealousy. An ambulance never arrived and she died on the way to hospital in a taxi.
A [trans woman] died this Friday at night, at the hands of a companion apparently motivated by jealousy. The alleged murderer 'Alejandra' was apprehended at the scene. 'Kendall' as [the victim] was known lived at carrera 17 # 23-37 in the La Favorita neighborhood.
She was mourned on a night of blood and death in the La Favorita neighborhood in the town of Santa Fe, when apparently after a minor argument another sex worker stabbed 'Kendall' in the head causing a fatal injury. Although the sex worker was taken to Santa Clara Hospital, she was admitted without vital signs.
According to accounts by relatives of the deceased, she was with a client and decided to go to the bathroom for a moment. On the way, she tripped over a colleague known as 'Alejandra'. Apparently there was a fight between them and Alejandra stabbed her in the head. According to some accounts 'Kendall' was with a client of her attacker, who was jealous as a result.
According to the witness accounts 'Kendall' was still alive at that point. The owner of the establishment decided to take her outside while help was on the way. A woman who preferred not to be identified said that the [trans woman] lay on the floor bleeding for 45 minutes but the ambulance never arrived, so her other companions decided to call a taxi and take her to the hospital.
Kendall was originally from Venezuela.
