Cachita died by suicide.

Villa Vásquez.- A young transgender person made the terrible decision to end her life.

The deceased was identified by the name of [deadname] Soto, [21], whom they affectionately called "Cachita."

Soto was found hanged this afternoon in her home located in the La Gallera sector of Villa Vásquez.

According to accounts offered to Los Sureños RD, Soto was depressed, and several months earlier had lost her younger brother, Melvin, in the same way.
