Gabrielly was shot dead in the street by two assailants riding a motorcycle. She died at the scene.

On the night of this Thursday, 20, [deadname] da Boa Morte, who would have turned 29 next Tuesday (25), a [trans woman] identified by the social name of “Gabrielly Vanderguel”, was shot to death on the corner of Rua Padre João Batista and Avenida Presidente Dutra, close to the Federal Public Ministry, in the Cidade Nova neighborhood of Itaperuna.

According to information provided by witnesses, her killers were riding a black-colored Honda Titan motorcycle. The victim was at her usual point when she was shot.
