La Marquesa

La Marquesa was one of two people shot dead in an attack on her salon.

On March 21 two stylists were shot dead in the El Palmar neighborhood of the Minatitlán municipality. The first was identified as Marco Antonio Cruz Jiménez who called herself 'La Marquesa', a former Queen Muxe of Minatitlán.

Her companion, who also belonged to the movement, lost his life minutes later.
