The victim was found dead inside her home, gagged and bleeding from the nose. Her home had been robbed.

A 56-year-old [trans woman] was found dead inside her home, at Rua Coronel Vidal, in the São Dimas neighborhood of Juiz de Fora. The victim was gagged, bleeding from the nose and with cadaverous stiffness, showing signs of violence. According to witnesses the house was all overturned with signs of theft, the crime can be considered robbery.
