M.'s body was found in a field with a bag over her head. She had been beaten with a bat and then suffocated.

This Sunday the finding of the body of a [trans woman] was reported near a soccer field in the Villanueva municipality, Cortés, in northern Honduras.

The discovery occurred around 11:00 in the Villa Linda neighborhood, opposite corner of the soccer field.
