Patricia's body was found in the street the morning after she had left on a motorcycle with a client. She had been shot in the face.
Homicides against LGBT people do not stop. Last Tuesday night a trans woman, identified as Patricia Dumon, was killed by a bullet in the face on the road in the Mamatoco sector in Santa Marta, Magdalena.
According to friends, the woman, who practiced sex work, was approached at around 9 o'clock at night by an individual who was traveling on a motorcycle and who requested her services, to which she agreed; however, Patricia did not return to the hotel where she spent the night with her companions, nor did she communicate with them throughout the night.
Her body was found on the road in the early hours of this Wednesday. As yet there is no other information about the events surrounding the crime.
Patricia was Venezuelan and had been living in Santa Marta for several months.
