Violeta was found dead in an abandoned property near the Tuxtla Gutiérrez-Suchiapa highway on Sunday 21st October. She had been reported missing two days earlier.

TUXTLA GUTIÉRREZ, CHIS., October 21 (El Universal) .- The body of [deadname] “N”, a young transgender person reported as missing, was found this Wednesday on a road section of Tuxtla Gutiérrez-Suchiapa, security sources reported. The official report stated that the body of the 25-year-old was found on a section of the highway from the capital of Chiapas to the Copoya ejido, south of Tuxtla Gutiérrez.

Ministerial authorities started an investigation folder for the crime of homicide. Investigative agents and experts came to the area to carry out preliminary investigations. Personnel from the State Attorney General's Office transferred the body to the Forensic Medical Service where the legal autopsy will establish the causes of death. [Deadname] "N" was reported missing last Monday when she left her home in the ISSSTE neighborhood of said city, heading to the Copoya ejido.
