Juliana was shot while working in the centre of Vitória da Conquista early on the evening of Monday 26th October. She died at the scene.
A [trans woman] with a first name Juliana was murdered with gunshots to the head on the night of this Monday, 26, on [Avenida Presidente Dutra, also known as Avenida Integração] in Rio Bahia, a stretch of the Sumaré neighborhood in Vitória da Conquista (distant 527 km from Salvador), in the southwest of the state.
According to witnesses, the assailant arrived and fired about 8 shots into the victim's head. The military police are on site awaiting the arrival of the technical police department team.
Juliana lived in the Guarani neighborhood and was a very well-known person in the city.
Her killer was subsequently arrested.
