Paquita's body was found under a bridge. The cause of death was not reported, but she was known to be a drug user who had been threatened by a criminal gang in the area.
On Tuesday morning (17) at around 6:30 am the body of a [trans woman] identified as [deadname] Ferreira Brasil, only 17 years old, was found dead under a bridge in the vicinity of Avenida Brasil, in the São Jorge neighborhood in the west of Manaus .
According to information from the victim's father, his [daughter] was involved in drug trafficking, prostitution and when she ran out of drugs she stole from residents of the area. She had previously been threatened by members of a criminal gang in the Compensa neighborhood.
Police officers of the 21st Cicom were called together with a vehicle from the Legal Medical Institute (IML) to remove the body. The case will be investigated by the Homicide and Kidnapping Police Station (DEHS).
