Amandha Fagundes ("Mandhy")

Amanda's body was found inside her home on the night of Wednesday 3rd February. Her death is thought to have occurred several days earlier.

A 34-year-old transsexual woman was found dead on Wednesday night (3), in the Alto neighborhood of Piracicaba (SP). According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the body was inside the victim's home.

The Military Police was called in by a friend of the victim who, according to the SSP, said they were unable to speak to her and and so went to her home, where they found her dead in his room.

The SSP reported that the victim had bodily injuries and a strip of cloth around her neck. The house had no signs of burglary.

Expert examinations and a cadaver car were requested. The case was registered as a simple homicide at the Piracicaba Sectional Police Station.
