Yulieth was shot in the street on the night of Saturday 29th May.
A trans woman was shot and killed on Saturday night in the town of Costillas, jurisdiction of the municipality of Pelaya, Cesar.
The victim was Yulieth Balmaceda, 28, who, according to the authorities' report, was walking along the main road of the town when she was intercepted by two individuals on a blue motorcycle who shot her in the frontal region, killing her instantly.
Alarms were immediately raised and the authorities arrived in the area to collect material evidence to try to identify those responsible for this new homicide.
Yulieth's body was inspected by investigators and taken to the morgue of the Institute of Forensic Sciences of Forensic Medicine in Aguachica for a rigorous autopsy.
