The decomposed body of the victim was found in their room on Wednesday 11th August. They had probably been killed two or three days earlier.
RAWALPINDI: A transgender person was found murdered in Shah Khalid colony on Wednesday.
The transgender person, who is yet to be identified, had been residing in a room rented out by a woman.
Police said the murder came to light when the owner of the room observed odour emitting from the room.
Later, the police shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.
Initial police report suggested that the victim’s body had been decomposed as [they] seemed to have killed two or three days ago.
