Lorena was shot in the street on Wednesday 30th March.

A 31-year-old trans woman was killed last Wednesday, 30, in Pacatuba, 32.4 km from Fortaleza. The victim's name was not released, and the shots would have been carried out on a public road, in the Alto São João neighborhood .

The Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense (SSPDS-CE) reported, in a statement, that teams from the Civil Police of the State of Ceará (PC-CE) and the Military Police of Ceará (PMCE) are carrying out investigations related to intentional homicide.

Teams from the PMCE, the Forensic Experts of the State of Ceará (Pefoce) and the Department of Homicide and Protection of the Person (DHPP), which is investigating the case, were at the scene, according to the SSPDS.
