Kelly was shot by one of a group of 6 people who emerged from undergrowth in front of the bar where she was with her brother.
A trans woman identified as Kelly Keyze, 32, was killed in the early hours of this Sunday (17/4) in Caeté, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte (MG).
According to the Minas Gerais Military Police (PMMG), Kelly was in a bar in the Esmeraldas neighborhood when the suspect, a 19-year-old man, came out of bushes in front of the establishment accompanied by five men.
Armed, he fired 11 shots into the victim's back, neck, chest, buttocks and arm. The police are still looking for him and the men who accompanied him.
The motive for the crime has not yet been informed, as the occurrence has not yet been finalized by the Military Police.
The Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG) informed Metrópoles that, as soon as it was triggered, it moved a criminal investigation to the scene of the facts to identify and collect traces that could collaborate in the investigation. A police investigator also attended to carry out the first surveys.
A 19 year-old was subsequently arrested.
The Military Police arrested, on Sunday afternoon (17), a man suspected of having killed a trans woman with 11 shots during the night. Two weapons and drugs were seized from the suspect.

The suspect in the shooting is Tiago Ferreira dos Santos, better known as Tiaguinho, 19 years old. He was taken to the police station on duty, in the Nações Unidas neighborhood, in Sabará.
