J.'s body was found with stab wounds in undergrowth. A day earlier they had been failed to come home from a birthday party.

The naked body of a 15-year-old [trans person] was found in the grass of Brgy. Gairan, Bogo City, past 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

Police Lt. Col. Florendo Fajardo, chief of the Bogo City Police Station, identified the victim as [deadname] Sinadjan Royos, 15, from Purok Rosal 1 in Gairan, Bogo, Cebu who was last seen on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 3 o'clock: 00 in the morning. This is based on what the lover of the victim revealed that they came from the city of Medellin after attending a party and but the victim did not reply to a text after they broke up on their way home.

According to Fajardo, the victim's neighbor saw it [the body] after he was surprised that there were many flies nearby and it smelled very bad. When he checked, he found the body of the victim naked. Fajardo said that their investigation into the crime is ongoing. (GPL)

Police subsequently identified a man and a woman as persons of interest.
