Moe's body was found in the Ohio River.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A death investigation is underway after Louisville Metro Police Department pulled a dead body out of the Ohio River on Friday.

MetroSafe received a call around 2:30 p.m. about someone seeing what they thought was a body in the Ohio River near the Belle of Louisville.

LMPD's River Unit responded to the location and recovered a body near that location.

An autopsy to determine the cause of death, gender and more is underway as well.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the death investigation.
