Raíssa's body was found in a locker room at a sports court. She may have died by suicide.
The body of a young [trans woman], identified only as Raíssa, was found this Sunday, 7, in a sports court in the village of São Marcos, in Major Izidoro, in the Sertão of Alagoas. The 20-year-old was located without vital signs, inside the locker room on the court.
The Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Arapiraca was triggered to collect the body. According to the examination report, the cause of death would have been by hanging. There is a possibility that Raíssa committed suicide, but the police will investigate a possible homicide.
The victim's mother has already been to the IML awaiting the victim's release for burial.
