Abigail died after being stabbed in the neck.
A member of the LGBTI community was murdered early Sunday morning in the San Juan neighborhood of the municipality of Guaimaca, Francisco Morazán.
The victim was identified as [deadname] Zelaya Vásquez (27), who was killed with a knife-type stab wound to her neck.
Members of the National Police arrived at the crime scene to begin the necessary investigations, while Forensic Medicine personnel carried out their respective legal survey.
