Sofía was shot dead in a bar by hitmen.
A trans woman was shot dead in a bar located in the Liberdade neighborhood, in Altamira, in the southwest of Pará. The crime occurred last Tuesday night (9). According to witnesses, the victim was shot at least five times, one of which was in the head.
Reports state that two men on a motorcycle arrived at the scene and one of them got out to shoot at point blank range, with no chance of her defending herself. The duo then fled the scene.
Lucas de Lima Rodrigues, Michel Timoteo and Philipi Martins Barros were subsequently arrested in connection with Sofía's murder.
