Rayra was shot in the street in the early hours of the morning. She died at the scene.
In the early hours of this Thursday (5), around 4:30 am, a homicide by firearm was recorded on Rua Joaquim de Souza Barreto, in the Lagoa do Toco neighborhood, in Russas, in the interior of Ceará. The Military Police were called after residents reported hearing gunshots.
At the scene, the team found the body of a person lying on the ground, already dead. According to reports from a resident, the victim was a [trans woman] who lived in the area, but her identity was not confirmed, as no documents were found with the body.
Forensic Experts were called to carry out the technical investigation procedures, while the Civil Police began their investigation into the case. So far, there is no concrete information about the perpetrators or the circumstances of the crime. No arrests have been made.
