Berinjela was shot in a residence by two assailants who had arrived on a motorcycle.

The motive for the attack is not known.

Jequié recorded another homicide on Tuesday night (10), marking the second lethal crime in less than five hours.

A young trans woman, known by the nickname “Berinjela”, was shot dead in the Amaralina neighborhood.

The crime occurred around 8:45 pm, when two individuals on a motorcycle fired several shots at the victim, who died in a residence in the area.
