Alicia's body was found on a riverbank after she was stabbed during the early hours of Sunday 30th March. She was buried the following day - the Trans Day of Visibility.

CHILPANCINGO, Gro., April 1, 2025.- A trans woman was stabbed to death in the early hours of Sunday and was buried by her relatives on Monday in the town of Coscamilla, municipality of Quechultenango.

Alicia was a trans woman from Quechultenango. Her body was found at approximately 4 a.m. on Sunday with stab wounds, on the bank of a river in the community.

LGBTI+ Collective Orgullo Guerrero recalled that Monday, March 31, was International Transgender Day of Visibility, and that was the date Alicia was buried on that day. They noted that the commemoration took place in the context of a crime.

The collective, based in the state capital, lamented and condemned Alicia's murder and demanded an investigation into the case., April 1, 2025.- A trans woman was stabbed to death in the early hours of Sunday and was buried by her relatives on Monday in the town of Coscamilla, municipality of Quechultenango.
