Chabela was killed by hitmen while working in a bar.
MONTERREY.- A transgender person, who worked as a waiter at a bar in Guadalupe, was executed with five gunshots after being surprised by armed men posing as customers.
The attack caused panic among the club's waiters and customers, who fled through various entrances, fearing that it was a massacre. However, everything seems to indicate that the attack was directed against the victim, who has not yet been identified.
The events were reported in the early hours of Wednesday, inside the "Los Ramoncitos" bar located on calle Francisco Villa, in the División del Norte neighborhood .
To date, the deceased has not been officially identified, being a person of approximately 38 years of age. However, the executed person was unofficially identified as "Chabela," who had been working as a waiter for several years.
Upon arrival of the first Municipal Police units, the presence of an injured person was confirmed, so assistance from emergency services was requested. Paramedics arrived at the scene and, after examining the man, confirmed that he no longer had vital signs and had been shot at least three times.
The area was cordoned off, and officers from the State Investigation Agency and experts from the Institute of Criminalistics and Forensic Services arrived at the scene and began their investigation and gathering evidence. The body was transferred by the Forensic Medical Service for a legal autopsy, while the investigation continues to clarify the facts and find those responsible.
