Kameela died by suicide.
MALAPPURAM: A transgender woman was found dead at her friend's house. Kameela of Vadakara was found [suicide method redacted] in front of her male friend’s house.
The incident happened Wednesday morning at around 4:30. Kameela was staying at Payyanangadi in Tirur. Her friend is a native of Vailathur. However, he was staying at his brother's house in Karinkappara Ozhur. She was found dead inside the temporary shed built to park vehicle in front of this house.
Before taking the drastic step, Kameela had shared a video on Instagram saying that she was going to commit suicide. Kameela said that her male friend is responsible for her death and is going to die near his house. The Tanur police have registered a case and have started an investigation into the incident.
