The victim died after armed men invaded her home and shot her in front of her family. Her identity was not reported.
A trans woman was executed with at least 14 shots inside her home, in front of her nephews and other family members. The crime took place this Sunday (20) in the Cristo neighborhood, in João Pessoa and happened while she was watching television. The residence was invaded by two armed men who chased her and fired the shots.
According to reports from the Civil Police and forensic expert Tony Máximo, the shots were fired at close range, mainly to the back and face. Nineteen rounds of .380 caliber ammunition were found at the scene, confirming the brutality of the action.
The victim, according to police, was a drug user, and this will be one of the lines of investigation to determine the motive for the crime. No suspects have been identified or arrested yet. Police Chief Thiago Cavalcante is leading the investigation.
