Jericho died after being stabbed multiple times by a person she met at a party. Her killer then stole her wallet.
A member of the LGBTQ community was killed after being stabbed 13 times in Lipa City, Batangas.
According to Nico Waje's report on "Saksi," in June 25-year-old Jericho Elliorate had won the Miss Gay title in Barangay Sampat, Tanauan.
She was killed after midnight on Saturday after a get-together with friends who were also deaf.
Investigation showed that she met the suspect, who invited her to go somewhere else, during the party.
CCTV footage showed Jericho and the suspect alighting from a tricycle.
The video didn't capture the actual stabbing, but it caught the suspect leaving and returning to the crime scene to take the victim's wallet.
CCTV footage led to the arrest of the suspect, who would not give any comment.
