Guadalupe was beaten to death in her home. Hearing her screams, neighbours apprehended and nearly lynched her killer.

A trans woman was beaten to death inside a home in the Xochimilco district of Mexico City, and the victim's neighbors defended her and tried to lynch the alleged perpetrator.

The case was reported by journalist Carlos Jiménez , who claimed that the attacker was identified as César 'N' and that his actions caused her death in just a few minutes.

On August 21, 2025, César 'N' attacked a trans woman until he took her life. The victim's screams alerted the neighbors, who, in an act of justice by their own hand, managed to intercept the aggressor when he tried to flee.

The outrage was so great that residents severely beat César 'N', almost lynching him, before members of the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) arrived.

The Tepepan Sector police finally arrested the suspect, who was transferred to the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJ CdMx).

At this time, the exact motives behind this crime are unknown. However, the case has been classified as a transfemicide, a term that seeks to highlight and recognize the systematic and lethal violence directed against trans women in Mexico.
