Lillia died by suicide.
The day before Charlie Kirk was killed, a 19 year old trans girl named Lillia Holland disappeared, after tweeting out her suicide note.
Her phone and shoes were found on the St. Johns Bridge in Portland, where a 17 year old trans girl named Charlotte Fosgate had ended her life earlier this year. Charlotte's suicide was most widely known for being spread around as a transphobic right-wing meme.
There is no update on whether Lillia has been found, alive or otherwise. The only information is from her Twitter and one of her friends. A hundred of so thousand people on Twitter know that she is missing. A handful of those people have mocked her suicide. Outside of Twitter, I can't find any information about her. There have been no news articles about her. No statements from politicians. No support to her loved ones or fundraisers for the Trevor project. No hashtags. Nothing.
About 150k people saw her final post, while millions of people are viewing, liking, and reposting millions of posts about Charlie Kirk on every social media platform. He's trending everywhere and making breaking news. The President of the United States has sent out condolences.
Why did his life matter more than Lillia's? Why is it that the same people telling us to be sad about his death and not talk bad about him were the people making memes about a 17 year old girl's suicide a few months ago? Why must trans deaths go unnoticed, or worse, celebrated and mocked, yet we are expected to mourn a man who wanted us dead? Who advocated against our human rights. Who is part of the movement that has made this country unsafe for us. Who made this world a much harder place for Charlotte and Lillia to live in. #charlottefosgate #lilliaholland #protecttransyouth #transrights #charliekirk
