Ketlen's body was found in bags in her home. Four suspects were subsequently arrested.
The Military Police arrested four people suspected of participating in the death of a [trans woman] identified only as Ketlen, on Friday night (26), in Jacundá in the southeast of the State. Investigations indicate that the crime may be related to a drug debt that Ketlen had with the suspects.
Ketlen's body was found by neighbors who, in addition to being suspicious of the lack of activity in the house where the young woman lived, noticed a foul odor. Upon entering the property, they found the transgender woman's remains stored in bags scattered throughout the house.
The Military Police were called and, a few hours later, arrested four people whose names were not revealed, but who confessed to direct participation in the crime.
The Civil Police took over the investigation and are looking for others involved in the crime.
