Vanessa's body was found on a highway. Her case is being investigated as a hit and run homicide.
In Venado Tuerto, the Police and the Prosecutor's Office are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of "Yaya", a 44-year-old trans woman, whose body was found early Sunday morning on National Route 33, at kilometer 617.
Initially, one of the theories under discussion is that the victim died in a traffic accident, in which the other party involved fled the scene. For this reason, the case is initially classified as negligent homicide.
However, the investigation remains open in order to confirm this line of reasoning or advance other possibilities that will clarify the events that led to the fatal outcome.
Yaya's body was taken to the judicial morgue, where an autopsy was performed to determine the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, the victim's relatives visited the Venado Tuerto Police Station, where they were informed about the ongoing judicial proceedings and also provided relevant information.
Authorities are maintaining a tight-lipped attitude until the final report from the forensic doctor and the road investigations are available to determine what happened that tragic early morning.
