Dandara died from a stab wound to the chest after being attacked shortly after leaving a restaurant. Her killer - or killers - have not been identified.
The Civil Police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old transgender woman, identified as Dandara, who was stabbed in the left side of her chest on Monday night (6), at a gas station located in the Distrito Industrial III neighborhood, in Uberaba.
Preliminary information indicates that the woman had been at a nearby barbecue restaurant until shortly before the attack. The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) was called, but upon arrival, they could only confirm the victim's death.
After being injured, the victim tried to run for help, but fell near other women who were there. Several people then gathered at the gas station.
The Civil Police's Forensic Department carried out technical procedures at the scene and the body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Uberaba.
The case remains under investigation. So far, no suspects have been arrested, and the motive for the crime has not yet been confirmed.
