Hanna died by suicide.
Hanna Fernanda Cervantes was a candidate for City Councilor in San Andrés Cholula, Puebla. She studied Public Administration at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla ( BUAP ).
She was a social activist who described herself as a hardworking, loyal, humble, noble, courageous, and committed woman.
On her personal social media accounts, she posted a story with a farewell message, where she affirms that she always fought for her ideal, and looked out for others before her own personal well-being.
In her post, she referred to her mother as her only loved one, hoping that nothing happens to her and asking her loved ones to take care of her for her sake.
Many people transcend, some leave a mark, others leave a path full of courage, joy, and teaching.
The cause of Hanna Fernanda 's death has not yet been revealed ; family, friends, and fellow activists have spoken out about her passing as a regrettable loss.
