Lilith Hailey

Lilith passed away after being forcibly restrained by prison guards. A medical examiner ruled her killing a homicide.

"Lilith" Hailey was murdered by guards at Red Onion State Prison on November 26, 2025—shot with less-lethal rounds, tazed, pepper sprayed, and suffocated, before being left begging in restraints for hours by guards who told her to "shut the fuck up". The medical examiner ruled it homicide.

This Friday, UPROAR is rallying at VADOC Headquarters to demand justice for Lilith, Bobby Nicholson, Will McLean, Aubrey McKay, and all stolen lives.

We demand criminal charges for all officers involved, independent oversight with enforcement powers, the immediate firing of David Anderson, and the shutdown of Red Onion and Wallens Ridge prisons.

After the ruling Lilith's family received a wronful death settlement of $2.7 million.
