Murdered
Gabriely was murdered after revealing that a man and his family (including a two-year old child) had been kidnapped by an organised crime gang.
José Walleffe dos Santos Lins was also murdered by the gang.

A trans woman was murdered by members of a criminal faction in Várzea Grande after informing the mother of José Wallef dos Santos Lins that he had been captured by the group. The information was confirmed by the Civil Police during Operation Factional Dictatorship CPX, launched this Friday (5) in the metropolitan region.
According to Detective Nilson Farias of the Homicide Division, the young woman "disappeared" shortly after informing her family about the kidnapping. "She told José Wallef's mother that he had been captured by the gang. Not satisfied with that, they went and made this trans woman disappear. They killed her, and her body has not yet been located," stated the detective.
The murder of José Wallef was also committed with extreme violence. Before killing him, the criminals kidnapped him, his wife, and their two-year-old son. Of the ten people involved, one of the suspects, identified as Bruno César Amorim Santos, pointed out as the group's leader, died in a confrontation with the police. Six others were arrested, and three remain at large.
According to the Civil Police, the case reveals how the community's residents lived under the rules imposed by the faction.
"They were living in a parallel state, with their own bloody rules. People didn't even have the right to express themselves," Farias emphasized.
Eleven suspects were arrested on Friday 5th December.
The 11 suspects arrested this Friday morning (5) during Operation Factional Dictatorship CPX have been identified . They are being investigated for the kidnapping, torture and death of José Walleffe dos Santos Lins from Alagoas , as well as the kidnapping and torture of his wife, Ariane da Silva Cerqueira, and the kidnapping of the couple's two-year-old son. Some of the suspects are also being investigated for the disappearance of Gabriely, a neighbor and friend of the family.
