Madeline's body was found a day after she had gone missing. There are indications that she may have died by suicide.
Madeline was a good friend of mine online. we talked often of table top role playing games, fantasy adventures, music, etc etc. the impact she had on me and multiple of my friends lives could never be understated. she was a star in our eyes. one of the most intelligent, kind, compassionate, and all around amazing people i have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. i will never forget her.
Madeline was the magician for my daughter's third birthday party. She loved kids, and made magic for the little kids with her tricks, bubbles, and jokes. We had so much fun, and Jocelyn and I were so happy for our kids to be besties. She was a bright creative spark who will be missed and loved forever.
In her time here, Madeline was a creative force, found meaning and delight in art, writing, world building, queer community, culture and history, video games, and tabletop games. She was a talented Game Master, an obsessive and dazzling narrative artist, and a dedicated, sweet friend. She brought joy to those around her with her brilliance, wit, sassiness, and empathy.
