Flavia was shot dead in a beach bar. The identity of her attackers is not known.
A 37-year-old trans woman was shot dead on Sunday night (26) in the city of Grossos, on the Costa Branca coast of Rio Grande do Norte. The victim was identified as Flávia Mendonça.
According to the Military Police, the victim was in a bar in a location known as Prainha when two suspects arrived wearing helmets and approached her.
The victim noticed the criminals approaching, tried to run, but was caught and shot multiple times, according to the police. The woman died instantly.
The motive for the crime was unknown to the police. After the crime, the suspects fled. As of Monday morning (26), no suspects had been arrested.
The case is now being investigated by the Civil Police.
