Suicide

You will always live in our hearts.
Zoé embodied kindness. She had a great sense of humor, a strong sense of responsibility, and particularly loved cats, pixels, puns, and making crêpes. She had developed a great passion for public transport; for a year she knew everything, down to the model of the trains.
Zoé endured great suffering for four years before taking her own life on January 27, 2026.
She felt like a girl and confided this to her friends a year before she passed away. As her mother, I wish she had also confided in me so I could continue to support her in this life, but I imagine she didn't want to be a burden.
The abnormal insensitivity of some people makes it so hard for trans people to exist today. She had reached a point of extreme fatigue, and her lucidity undoubtedly shook all the love and trust we had for her.
Rest in peace, Zoé.
