For days, neighbors noticed her absence. Gisella Estefanía Granda Ochoa, 49, wasn't coming out, wasn't answering her phone. Their concern grew until they decided to look inside the house located on the corner of calles Galo García and Juan Montalvo in Pasaje. What they found was devastating.

Her body was in the bedroom. She lived alone, was part of the LGBTQ+ community and had no criminal record. Today, those who knew her speak of a quiet, reserved person who would greet people with a brief smile and then go on her way.

According to the police report, she was partially undressed, with an object stuck in her neck.
