Jadyn died by suicide.
On March 3rd 2026 Jadyn Kimsel (He/Him) killed himself, and his body was found by his 14 year old sister. Below is his obituary, however we have a different photo we would request that is used for him. He cut his hair and became more happy with his appearance and we want to use a photo that more aligns with his gender identity. In his obituary he is deadnamed, and misses some information that me and his friends would like to have included.
Jadyn was a strong man, who was always true to himself. He was always there to support his friends in need. He was a constant light in our lives. He was very active within the friend group, always talking, chatting, sending memes and whatever else. He was a member of the swim team, where he would always try to push himself to get his times down. He was also a member of Howell Highschool Alliance Community, where he was always laughing, smiling, and ready to help. He would put his heart and soul into everything he did.
He would always express himself with his music, especially songs from Mitski, Radiohead, Will Wood, and Linkin Park. He would watch shows and anime with his favorite being the rookie, he especially loved Lucy Chen and Tim Bradford. He loved Stranger things and was a huge Byler stan. He had recently gotten into JJK, The Pitt, and was rewatching AOT. He loved to use Snapchat filters, taking pictures of himself and others. He loved playing Roblox with friends especially Grow a Garden, and Adopt me. He would always be drinking a monster, celcius, or coffee from Dunkins. He was amazing at pixel art, making some stunning creations.
When asked ¨What is your reason, the thing that keeps you going?¨ He said ¨So I can be remembered as a man.´ (February 8th, 2026). I hope he knows that we do, and that is how we will remember him. As him living as his authentic self.
