Christina was the co-founder of Sasha's Rainbow of Hope, a nonprofit providing mental health resources for the queer community in the Four Corners area.
She described herself as a "community activist, mental health advocate, autism advocate, and transgender warrior".
Christina Iraci passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2026. Her choice was to be cremated, and that has already taken place.
Christina whose unique personality facilitated her role in the community as an advocate for those in need of resources. Christina received her certificate of achievement for her class in NAMI's "Peer to Peer" training in Albuquerque in 2020.
Christina was a presence, she served the marginalized, including the homeless. She was a cofounder of "Sasha's rainbow of Hope" in Farmington, New Mexico. Christina served in varied capacities with that special community. She was also an advocate for those on the autism spectrum.
Christina was a published poet, who many may remember from her pieces in the Talon newspaper, and other publications. She was delighted when she won the Colorado poet award.
Christina is survived by her mother Pam, many uncles' aunts, cousins and brother Joshua.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all those in our area who believed in Christina's true spirit, who shared in her care, and gave encouragement and resources on Christina's difficult journey through life.
