The information was obtained through direct contact with an acquaintance in the local sex work community.
There are no journalistic reports, and no other community sources are able or willing to share information. Caroba worked for local pimps who have refused to speak about the situation. Caroba's friends and acquaintances are afraid of these pimps and what they might do to them if they speak out. The prosecutor's office has not opened an investigation because they do not have enough information to begin, and the family did not file a report.
