Ashley's body was found with signs of violence in a wooded area four days after she had gone missing.
Ashly, a trans woman who had been reported missing for four days, was found dead in a wooded area of Santa Cecilia, in the municipality of Texcalyacac . The young woman's body was located beside the road leading to the sports complex .
The victim was last seen on Saturday in Tenango del Valle. Since then, family and friends began searching for her until they located her this Wednesday; however, she was found dead.
Paramedics arrived at the scene after the discovery was reported; however, they only confirmed that the young woman no longer had vital signs and that her body had multiple burns.
Municipal public safety officers cordoned off the area while awaiting the arrival of forensic personnel from the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico to carry out the necessary procedures and begin the investigations to determine the motive for the crime and identify those responsible .
